Cement Breather Snorkel

The Cement Breather Snorkel is designed to help mitigate cement powder siphoning issues with volumetric mixers where the auger dumps powder into the mixing bowl. Without the Snorkel, cement powder can build up in the rubber boot leading down into the mixing bowl, or siphon the powder from the bin, causing slump issues, lean, or rich concrete. The Snorkel snuggly fits where the rubber boot mounts to the auger, allowing air to enter the rubber boot, effectively stopping build-up or siphoning. The downward-facing intake mitigates the chances of water spray entering and mixing with the powder, which could cause hardened powder to block a tube or straw.
